K International is a language translation company based in the wonderful new city of Milton Keynes in the UK. We employ hundreds of people all over the world and can provide an accurate translation of just about anything as quickly as possible.

The Government

We are the contract holders of an OJEU compliant pan-Government agreement for translation services, called 05/GEN/25. This allows all agencies within the Government to purchase any language service at a specially reduced rate, without the need for tender or mini-competition.

Under this agreement and other exclusive Government contracts that we hold we serve the majority of the UK Government with a secure, trusted language translation service.

We also provide assistance with accessibility services such as Braille, easyRead and large print, these should all be part of your communication strategies. We also provide professional voice overs in almost any language for DVD projects and presentations.

Corporate Social Responsibility

As a company we want to lessen our impact on the environment as much as possible. That’s why when we had the opportunity we started the tree planting program. Under this plan it will see us planting 50,000 trees over the next 5/7 years at a place in the north east of England.

In light of this (and other achievements ) we were accredited with the UK Government’s CEASER certification at the end of 2008.

We are also reducing our impact on the environment directly by monitoring our use of carbon and setting targets to reduce it. We are achieving this by reducing the amount of paper we use (via technology) and offering new services such as telephone and video interpreting that can be delivered over the internet.

Our aim is to remove over ten times the amount of carbon that we produce via the tree planting program. Once the trees are established (which will take 50 years) the new woodland will be maintained by future generations of K International staff.
